How It Works
We start by locating minerals and the owners of those mineral rights. We’ll make a fair market offer for the rights. Both sides must agree to the sale in writing.
Next we email you the Mineral Deed and Purchase and Sale Agreement. Review the paperwork to ensure all information is correct; if changes need to be made, please write out the updated information and add your initials in the margin.
Next you’ll sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement (as your name appears on the Mineral Deed) and return via email or mail to Tempus.
Within a week of receipt of the executed Purchase and Sale Agreement, Tempus Minerals will mail (or wire) you an earnest money check and begin checking your title.
Once we confirm the title is clear, you will sign the (notarized) Mineral Deed and we’ll issue a final payment pursuant to the Purchase and Sale Agreement.
